It is a fantastic mixture between a book and a blog.
OurBlook.com was formed in the beginning of blogs and has maintained a reputation of being the best with the best. It is used as an authoritative source for users and bloggers.
Our JOU2303 project this semester is going to be part of the University Partnership Program. It basically is a chance for us, the students, to get field time on the web and in the digital world before going into the real world with the big guys.
A second project ourblook is doing is Aspiring Journalists Projects. It is for and by journalism students. It is going to focus on writing about tools in the new world that we are using and will be using.
HYPERLOCAL HYPERLOCAL HYPERLOCAL
The main focus is going to be hyperlocal journalism.
This is basically "hyperly" focusing on local people and events. It is getting the community interested and involved in the community. It is pushing information about the community to the community. This is going back to just the people. The people are the main point of this entire idea. It serves as a sort of mirror into the community. Everything media is going from mass- to niche-marketing.
